Fashion week starts February 9th thru 16th at various locations throughout the city. Major fashion houses will showcase fall/winter 2017 looks. For all the fashion addicts, this is the most wonderful time of the year!
What awaits us this fall/winter for fashion trends?

Unfortunately, most of the shows are for industry people. However, there are some events that are open to the public. Go to nyfw.com to get a complete schedule of all the shows. Also, fashionweekonline.com is a great resource to see what events are open to the public and stay updated on this fabulous time in the city. Some fashion houses will live stream their fashion shows or will post images and/or videos on their social media or websites so you don't have to feel out the loop even if you don't have a front row seat.
Kanye West announced last minute that he would be showcasing Yeezy Season 5 on February 15th. This will be an interesting show as he is looking to redeem himself after receiving horrible reviews of his last showcase in September. It's awesome to see the fashion staples like Oscar de la Renta and Marchesa, but it's refreshing to see young, up and coming designers like Laquan Smith and Hood by Air showcase their fashion as well.
One thing is for sure, the streets of NYC will be flooded with fashionable and fashion forward looks strutting the city.
